Crystal Copeland is a mixed‑media artist from rural West
Virginia whose work explores how paint can transform perception and invite new
ways of seeing art. Working across multiple media, she creates textured,
expressive pieces that emphasize color, surface, and the physicality of paint.

Raised in West Virginia, Crystal holds a Bachelor of Science
from Fairmont State University. Her early years in a family‑run floral and
craft business—where she worked from age ten—gave her practical training in
product design, customer service, and small‑business operations. Those
formative experiences continue to inform her creative process and professional
approach.

Before committing to art and entrepreneurship, Crystal
worked as a registered nurse. In 2021 she stepped away from nursing due to
ongoing medical challenges. That transition deepened her resolve to build a
sustainable creative career and pursue financial independence through her art.
